He alleged that the so called secular parties, particularly, the Congress and Samajwadi Party, were engaged in a competition to appease terrorists and Pakistan and were abusing and insulting Indian Muslims with their actions.
"While the Centre has repealed POTA, the UPA Government is supporting dangerous outfits like SIMI for the sake of vote bank politics. They are mistaken. By doing so they are being dishonest to Indian Muslims", Naqvi charged.
Naqvi blamed the UPA Government’s "soft policies" for the attempts by al-Qaeda to set up base in India.
The BJP leader called upon Muslims, particularly, the youth of the community to come forward to fight both terrorists and their protectors and not to be misled by the "soft policies" to terrorism adopted by the secular parties.
The BJP has organsied two days of protest on July 15-16 in protest against the recent bomb blasts in Mumbai suburban trains and asked the UPA Government to "govern or get out".
The party would also be raising the issue vociferously in both the houses of Parliament, Naqvi added.
