Bhanwari case: Maderna's police custody ends today

New Delhi: Former Rajasthan minister Mahipal Maderna and his rival Malkhan Singh's brother Parasram Bishnoi, both accused in the Bhanwari Devi case, will be produced in a Jodhpur court on Friday.

They will be produced in the court as their police custody ends today.

This comes a day after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Bhanwari Devi's husband, Amar Chand, for not cooperating with the police.

He had earlier alleged that Bhanwari was abducted at the behest of Maderna.

A CD had allegedly shown Maderna in compromising position with the 36-year-old nurse, following which she went missing from Bilara on September 1.
