New Delhi: The Bangalore police have arrested two boys who allegedly cheated a man out of Rs 1.14 crore.

The boys had claimed to be close friends of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's son, Nikhil Gowda.

Police say the duo, Sukesh and Saleem, said they could get property ownership documents for the victim.

They also claimed to have connections high up in the Bangalore Development Authority and the police department.

Sukesh claimed to be the son of a Tamil Nadu minister.

The police say the two used the money to buy expensive cell phones, watches, gold chains and seven cars including a Corolla and a BMW.
