New Delhi: The romantic pairs of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and Kyun Ho Gaya Naa were destined not to be repeated—neither on celluloid screens, nor in real life.
For Aishwarya, her estranged relationship with Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi is a thing of past. The would-be bahu of Bachchan clan is busy deciding her wedding trousseaus for the much-talked-about marriage to Abhishek Bachchan.
But the estranged lovers—Salman and Vivek seem in no mood to forget the past.
According to reports Salman is still irked with Vivek for attacking him in the media two years ago about his relationship with Ash.
Despite several attempts by the star to clear the air, he is still snubbing Vivek. Though Vivek extended a hand of friendship a number of times, but was snubbed by Salman on every occasion.
Both of Aishwarya’s ex lovers were shooting in Dubai for David Dhawan's Partner and Ahmed Khan's Fool and Final recently. While Salman was working with his brother Sohail, Vivek was shooting with Arbaaz Khan for Ahmed Khan's film. During the shooting schedule, Vivek tried to meet Salman several times, but Salman turned him down saying that he was not interested.
Industry insiders feel Vivek's career is headed nowhere from the day he locked horns with Salman. Apparently Vivek is desperate to get back in the main league after a string of super flops.
Vivek refused to do a cameo in Farhan Akhtar’s next film and even turned down national award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar’s offer to play the lead in Traffic Signal saying that he would only play main-leads and is not interested in mediocre projects.
Last year when Salman was in jail (in the black buck case) and his ailing mother was admitted to Leelavati Hospital, Vivek went to meet her with father Suresh Oberoi.
However, when Salman came out of jail, he did not get back to Vivek. He did not even send any feelers through their common friends.
