Anti-Posco Forum

PARADIP: Church leaders, under the banner of North Indian Churches Association, interacted with the villagers at Gobindpur on Tuesday. Expressing solidarity with the villagers, they announced launch of an anti-Posco solidarity forum at the national level to highlight the plight of the villagers.As many as 20 members of the North Indian Churches Association led by their national  general secretary Rojer Gaikwad expressed shock over forcible acquisition of land for the proposed project. The leaders have also promised to send a medical team for the treatment of the victims of the land acquisition process.Meanwhile, continuing with the protest, hundreds of children and women formed a human chain on the outskirts of the village.
