THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ‘The Birds of Spring’, an anthology of 28 pictorial poems penned by Sarath Chandra Lal, was released by cartoonist Sudhi Narayanan, at a function held at Suvani, Atlanta in the United States, recently. Sudhi Narayanan observed that the poems of Sarath Chandra Lal depicted simplicity of life as well as its stark realities. N D Ramachandran Nair, chairman of Ujjayani, elaborated the contents of the work and said that all the poems had a global appeal.
