Another man trying to reach MV Wisdom drowns

Mumbai: Another man trying to get close to the stranded ship MV Wisdom, drowned at the Juhu beach on Sunday. This is the third case of drowning after MV Wisdom got stuck at the Juhu beach.

According to the lifeguards, three people broke the barricades constructed to cordon off the area around the vessel and tried to reach MV wisdom on Sunday.

The lifeguard managed to save two people but failed to save the third person.

The salvage operation to tow the cargo ship MV Wisdom had been suspended till the next high tide.

There is no hazardous waste or fuel in the ship so there is no risk of pollution to Juhu or other beaches, but authorities had earlier said that the curious public is proving to be a nuisance.
