New Delhi: The All India Students Association (AISA) notched three out of four seats in the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union elections on Sunday. The top seat, that of the President, however, went to its rival Students Federation of India-JNU (SFI-JNU), a rebel faction of the CPI(M).
V Lenin Kumar was declared the President.
Meenakshi Buragohain of AISA is Vice President. The posts of General Secretary and Joint Secretary too went to AISA, with Shakeel Anjum and Piyush Raj winning the posts.
