Ahead Of PM Narendra Modi’s Ayodhya Visit, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust To Meet Today
Fifteen members of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will be attending the meeting to discuss further plans regarding the inauguration of the temple.

With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to the temple town of Ayodhya on December 30, Ramnagari is undergoing a magnificent transformation. Reportedly, meticulous preparations are underway on the directions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit. Meanwhile, the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust is scheduled to meet on December 28 to step in with some crucial decisions on the Ram-Lala statue.

As per the reports, 15 members of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will be attending the meeting to discuss further plans regarding the inauguration of the temple on January 22 and the consecration of Lord Ram’s idol. Reports also suggest that the trust will organise consecutive meetings to decide on the idol to be installed in the sanctum sanctorum. It is pertinent to note that members of the trust will evaluate the three idols to select the one that symbolises lord Rama as a child in the best manner.

If the sources are to be believed, the idol of Lord Ram will be 51 inches tall, reflecting a five-year child among all the designs.

Meanwhile, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is all set to arrive in Ayodhya to review preparations. His visit to the city comes in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow, which will be held on December 30.

The ‘pran pratishtha’ or the consecration ceremony of the idol of Lord Ram in Ayodhya will take place on January 22, 2024, at 12:20 pm. Around 8,000 invitees, including 1,500-1,600 “eminent” guests will be participating at the event to witness the inauguration of the temple. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust spent Rs 900 crore between February 5, 2020, and March 31, 2023, for the construction of the temple of Lord Ram.

Given the security concerns and thousands of guests arriving in the city, only those with invitation letters or who are posted on government duty will be able to visit the place. The inauguration of the temple will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat.
