Shukla Pratipada is considered inauspicious for commencing significant activities as it falls under ashubh muhurat timings. Conversely, both Shukla Dwitiya and Shukla Tritiya are classified under shubh muhurat timings. On this day, the auspicious festival of Chandra Darshana is observed.

Therefore, when planning any event or activity, it’s crucial to take into account not only the tithi but also the auspicious or inauspicious timings associated with it.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON MAY 9

The sun is slated to rise around 5:51 AM and set around 7:05 PM. However, the moon is anticipated to rise at 6:27 AM, while it is scheduled to set at 8:38 PM.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR MAY 9

The Pratipada Tithi is projected to last until 6:21 AM, after which it will transition into the Dwitiya Tithi until 4:17 AM on May 10. Subsequently, the Tritiya Tithi will commence. During this time, the inauspicious Krittika Nakshatra will prevail until 11:55 AM, followed by the auspicious Rohini Nakshatra. SHUBH MUHURAT FOR MAY 9

Brahma Muhurta is scheduled to occur from 4:25 AM to 5:08 AM, followed by the Vijaya Muhurta from 2:40 PM to 3:33 PM, and the Godhuli Muhurat from 7:03 PM to 7:25 PM. Nishita Muhurta is anticipated to occur between 12:06 AM and 12:49 AM on May 10, while the Pratah Sandhya Muhurta is expected to take place from 4:46 AM to 5:51 AM. Sayahna Sandhya is predicted to occur from 7:05 PM to 8:09 PM.
