BANGALORE: Home Minister R Ashok said that 3,000 police personnel would be recruited soon to curb the staff crunch at the department.Speaking at the inauguration of ‘Janasnehi Police Kendra’ at Windsor Manor Junction on Sunday, he said, “The process of recruitment will kick off after the finance department approves. “A head constable and a constable will be stationed at these centres,” he said. Centres would be established in more junctions at various stages. The policemen can keep a tab on suspicious persons and reach out to victims.
