3 burnt alive as house catches fire

NELLORE: Three persons, including a seven year old girl, were burnt alive when a house caught fire at Degapudi village in Podalakur mandal on Sunday night. According to information reaching here, C Rangaiah (43) used to sell petrol.
He stored some cans of petrol in his house. When his son C Penchala Prasad (17) lit a firecracker, some sparks fell on the petrol cans which caused the fire. An LPG cylinder in the house exploded due to the fire. C Kalyani (33), Prasad and Sanjana (7) were charred to death. Rangaiah suffered 80 per cent of burns. He was rushed to the district hospital in Nellore.
