BANGALORE: A 21-year-old wife of a soldier ended her life by hanging herself at her residence in Viveknagar on Friday. The deceased, Ambika, 21, was wife of Adishankara Reddy Muthanna, a soldier at Army Service Corps (ASC). The couple hailed from Andhra Pradesh.The police said that Muthanna had gone for work in the morning and Ambika was alone at home. When he returned in the evening, she did not open the door. He peeped though a window to find her hanging from the ceiling at her room.The reason for the suicide is yet to be ascertained.The police have questioned the parents of the deceased and they have not registered any complaints against Muthanna.Viveknagar police have registered a case and are further investigating in connection with the case.
