How to Take Photos at the Photo Studio on Tomodachi Life

Unlock the Photo Studio. To unlock the photo studio, you must have at least 10 Miis and solve at least 50 problems.Map.jpeg

Go to the Photo Studio. The Photo Studio is represented by a blue square on the town map with a picture of a camera on it. It is to the right of the map, next to the café. Double tap the icon or tap on it once the press the Enter button.Photo Studio.jpeg

Select Take Photos. The other option is View Photos where you can view photos you have taken in the game. At the bottom, there is an orange Leave button.Which.jpeg

Choose what type of photo you wish to take. You have four options: Couple Photo, Group Photo, Whole Island Photo or Kid Photo. When you have decided, press OK.Scene.jpeg Press the orange button with an arrow to go back. You might not have the option to take a baby photo, this will be because you currently don't have any babies in the game (babies that have grown up don't count). For couple photos, it doesn't have to be with two Miis that are a couple in the game, you can choose any two Miis you want.

Choose a background. You will be given a list of backgrounds. When you select a background, you will get a preview on the top screen. Select OK when you have chosen a background you like.Background.jpeg The background options will be different depending on what type of photo you choose (e.g. couple, whole island, etc.)

Choose which Miis you want in your picture. All your Miis on the game will be listed in alphabetical order of first name. For each Mii, select a circle, which dictates where each Mii will be placed in the photo, and select the Mii's name from the list. If you put a Mii in the wrong place, you can drag them to where you want them to go. You can also remove a Mii from the photo by selecting their circle, then selecting Remove. You can see how the photo will look on the top screen of your 3DS.Mii.jpeg You don't have to have a Mii in every circle, the placeholder Miis will go away when you take photos.

Change the Miis clothes. On the top left-hand corner, there should be an option to change a Mii's clothes when you select them. You can choose from any of the clothes that you have given to your Mii.Clothes Colour.jpeg

Press OK when you are ready to take photos. You should see what the photo will look like on the top screen. Press the arrow button on the bottom left to go back.Camera.jpeg

Press Change expression to change the Miis' expressions. You have seven options:Expression.jpeg Happy Winking Neutral (which is what it will look like if you don't change it) Angry Shocked Closed eyes Mixed (each Mii will randomly incorporate one of the expressions)

Press the button on the virtual camera to photograph your Miis. There should be a blue arrow pointing to the button you press. Once you have taken a photo, it will tell you that the photo has been taken.End result.jpeg You can view your photos on your Nintendo 3DS Camera.
