How to Remove an Event in Pokemon Go

Open Pokémon Go on your Android, iPhone, or iPad. Look for the Poké Ball icon, which looks like a white and red ball, on a blue background.

Tap the Poké Ball icon at the bottom of the screen. This will launch a new menu.

Tap Pokémon. This is the option on the far left, near the bottom.

Tap on the Event Pokémon that you want to remove. You can scroll through to find one, or use the search bar at the top to search for its name.

Tap on the 3 lines ☰. This is in the bottom right of the Pokémon's profile.

Select Transfer. This is near the bottom with 2 arrows.

Tap Yes. Make sure you understand that you cannot undo a transfer.

Tap Yes again. You are asked to confirm once more because it is an Event Pokémon. This will remove that Event Pokémon from your inventory.
