In a recent conversation, popular actress and model Lindsay Lohan, renowned for her role in Mean Girls, opened up about her desire to expand her family with her husband Bader Shammas. The actress, who is already a mother to 7-month-old son Luai, expressed her wish to provide him with a younger sibling. Reflecting on her own upbringing alongside siblings Michael Lohan Jr., Aliana Lohan, and Dakota Lohan, Lindsay emphasised on the importance of sibling relationships, expressing her desire for Luai to experience the same bond.
“I was lucky enough to have a sibling,” Lindsay shared, “So I want Luai to have that,” she said in a preview of the latest episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.
Recalling her journey to motherhood, Lindsay, 37, talked about her initial concerns regarding her age and the uncertainties surrounding pregnancy. However, she believes in the power of manifestation, attributing her quick conception of Luai to her prayers during the filming of Irish Wish alongside Ayesha Curry, now her son’s godmother.
Lindsay also recalled a heartwarming moment when she found Luai engrossed in watching The Parent Trap, a movie in which she starred as a child, leading to an emotional reaction from the actress. “It was a really magical moment,” she shared. “I took tons of pictures of it.”

On the professional front, Lindsay’s career has witnessed a resurgence in recent years. Securing a deal with Netflix, she starred in acclaimed films like Falling for Christmas and Irish Wish, with another rom-com titled Our Little Secret slated for release. Additionally, Lindsay also expressed interest in joining the Marvel universe and made a cameo appearance in the Mean Girls musical reboot.
Despite her thriving career, Lindsay remains focused on her role as a mother. Sources close to the actress reveal her aspiration to have four children, indicating that she and Bader Shammas are contemplating expanding their family. “Lindsay wants four kids. She’s working a lot, so it’s just a matter of timing. They’ll have another baby in the next year or two,” reports US Weekly.
The couple, who tied the knot in an extremely intimate ceremony in April 2022, welcomed their son Luai in July 2023. Currently, Lindsay is busy with a new project, Freaky Friday 2 in Atlanta.
