It’s a baby boy for Harry Potter actress Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley in all the movies of the franchise, and fans already want the new bundle of joy to join Gryffindor. She welcomed her first baby with husband Andrew Lococo on September 19 but the couple decided to make the good news public only a week later. In a happy Instagram post shared on Wednesday, September 27, Bonnie gave fans the first glimpse of her son, Elio Ocean Wright Lococo. The little munchkin was snuggled up in a blanket donning a striped onesie with a twinning hat.
The photograph came alongside a lengthy heartwarming note, wherein Bonnie articulated her emotional experience of embracing motherhood filled with “hormonal” mood swings. “Say hello to Elio Ocean Wright Lococo, born at home on Tuesday 19th September. We’re all healthy and happy. Andrew and I are so in love with our sun! So grateful for our birth team that has held our hands throughout and made the journey so joyous and expanding. Birth is the wildest experience,” Bonnie wrote.
The Harry Potter star moved on to express gratitude for everyone who assisted her and the family during the entire pregnancy journey, which included her husband. “Lastly thanks to Andrew my rock throughout birth quite literally as I squeezed onto you so tight and you never wavered. Elio has the most tender loving papa. Ok hormonal emotional extra long caption over,” she concluded.

Bonnie Wright and Andrew Lococo met each other in 2020 and two years later tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony hosted in San Juan Capistrano, California. It was only a month after celebrating their first marriage anniversary, that the two confirmed they were expecting their first baby on Instagram in April.
“We’re having a baby! So excited to share this beautiful land with them. What a wild and humbling journey pregnancy is, transforming to make space for new life. Andrew and I can’t wait to meet our baby later this year and become parents. It feels like they’re coming to say hello in the little rainbow orb across my belly,” said Bonnie at the time.
