The WWE legend revisited his iconic 90s fanny-pack ensemble in his latest Instagram post. The image of a young Johnson, sporting a fanny pack, turtle neck, and gold chain has become a popular meme and pop culture reference, capturing the essence of the 90s. Recently, Johnson treated his fans to a Christmas greeting with this nostalgic throwback video. In his caption, he wrote, “Merry Christmas, from your keepin’ it, friend. 90’s Rock.”

In the video, The Rock not only recreates his 90s look but also showcases his singing talent with a rendition of Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire. Playfully drawing attention to his fashionable attire, Johnson invites fans to “take a look at my amazing clothes,” concluding his performance with a pat on his fanny pack.

Fellow WWE Superstar Natalya expressed her admiration, calling the video “Epic!” Kevin Hart, a frequent collaborator with Johnson, conveyed his amusement with a series of crying-with-laughter emojis.

During a recent Make-A-Wish appearance, The actor hinted at a “little secret that may or may not involve some dude returning to WWE.”

Reports suggest WWE’s interest in having The Rock appear at WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth, scheduled for February. This event marks WWE’s return to Australia in 2018 and serves as the final main roster PLE before WrestleMania 40 in April.
