New Delhi: Kaka isn't the only big-name Serie A player being tracked by Manchester City, who are reportedly also about to make a huge offer for Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi.
According to Sky Sport 24, the Citizens are also keen on signing Inter defender Marco Materazzi.
The 35-year-old is no longer a guaranteed starter with the Nerazzurri, and coach Jose Mourinho has placed him behind his first choice defensive couple of Walter Samuel and Ivan Cordoba in the pecking order.
In addition, the Portuguese coach is hoping to offload some players as he doesn't like to work with a huge squad.
The club have reportedly already told City they will not oppose a transfer.
Materazzi joined Inter in 2001 from Perugia. With the Nerazzurri he has won three Serie A titles, two Coppa Italias, and three Italian Supercups. He also played a major role in Italy's World Cup victory in 2006.
