Last season's runners up FC Goa currently find themselves at the bottom of the league, while North East United is currently sitting pretty at the top after 3 wins from 6 matches.

New Delhi: A total of 21 matches have been played so far in the third edition of the Indian Super League and it has already seen its fair share of shocks and surprises.

ISL-3 may still be in its embryonic stage but the league table has already starting to take shape.

Last season's runners up FC Goa currently find themselves at the bottom of the league, while North East United is currently sitting pretty at the top after 3 wins from 6 matches. NEUFC have done a commendable job to turn their fortunes around in this edition of the tournament, specially after failing to seal a semis berth last term.

The champions of the inaugural edition of the tournament, Atletico de Kolkata are high on the heels of North East United, currently placed at second spot in the table with 9 points but they have played one game less.

Meanwhile defending champions Chennaiyin FC fill the third spot on the table with 8 points, having also played a game less that North East United.

Sunil Chhetri-less Mumbai City FC side are sitting at number 4 position in the table.

Delhi, Pune, Kerala and Goa take the final four places respectively in the ISL Points Table 2016.
