Against the backdrop of reports in Britain and France about his future with Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea defender David Luiz has revealed that he has asked his Brazil international colleagues about the French champions' "project".
The 26-year-old signed for Chelsea in January 2011 after four years with Benfica and has reportedly been attracting the interest of La Liga champions Barcelona, but his latest comments indicate he has other thoughts.
"I speak about Paris Saint-Germain and its project with my Brazilian team-mates," Luiz told TF1. "The club has done some good work in Ligue 1, and there are some very good players such as Lucas Moura, Thiago Motta, Maxwell, Thiago Silva."
According to French media reports, Luiz would command a price of £45 million. It is unclear whether Luiz, who started Brazil's opening Confederations Cup victory over Japan on Saturday, will be a part of new Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's long-term plans at Stamford Bridge.
