Bale is being pursued by Madrid for a reported world record transfer fee of about 100 million euros ($134 million).
Villas-Boas, however, criticized the forward for failing to turn up for training while the transfer is being negotiated.
Villas-Boas says Bale "is involved in a big transfer move to Real Madrid and in the end if it happens, we wish him all the best, but the fact that he hasn't turned up is not the correct behaviour."
