A rare beauty, Selena Gomez celebrated Indian couturier Rahul Mishra and his couture design on the Rare Impact Fund Benefit red carpet.

Looking like a gorgeous blooming flower, Selena looked comfortably chic in the one of a kind wearable art piece.

Styled by Erin Walsh, the versatile singer and actor adorned a custom hand embroidered Iris dress in Amethyst purple from Rahul Mishra Couture.

Rahul Mishra, the first Indian designer to showcase at the Paris Haute Couture Week champions slow fashion with traditional Indian crafts.

Speaking about dressing Selena Gomez for the Rare Impact Fund Benefit, Rahul Mishra says, “To have dressed Selena for such a meaningful event, is an honor for our brand. She is an epitome of strength and resilience in her personal life. I greatly value and appreciate what she is doing with the Rare Impact Fund. We are deeply moved and glad to have had this partnership.”

Imitating the petals of an Iris flower, the meticulously created 18 petals were enhanced with intricate embroidery resham and chenille threads, sequins, glass beads, bugle beads, badla and silver zari.

Crafted with love, the outfit is from the brand’s Couture Fall 2023 collection We, The People. An ode to the people who articulate the looks at Rahul Mishra’s atelier, the dress features a motif of the tailor Munir Ahmed, who has been an essential part of Rahul Mishra’s team for over a decade.

Exuding grace and glamour, the couture picked complemented Selena’s gorgeous frame. Known for her distinct style, Selena event looks also consisted of two more changes. The singer also adorned a shimmery halter neck silver gown and a black figure hugging long sleeve short printed dress with animal motifs at the event.

Selena also debuted her new haircut styled by celebrity hairstylist Marissa Marino. Her stunning and flawless makeup was done by celebrity makeup artist Melissa Murdick.

The Rare Impact Fund was started by Selena Gomez as part of her commitment to addressing mental health and self-acceptance. The Rare Impact Fund is raising $100 million over the next ten years to expand access to mental health services and education for young people around the world.
