Rakul Preet Singh always puts her best fashion foot forward, come what may. So, one could obviously not expect any less when she turned showstopper for Bhumika Sharma at Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI 2023. It is a sheer understatement to state that Rakul looked phenomenal walking the runway as a showstopper, she looked beyond incredible and more. The actress with her innate charm made everybody look at her in absolute awe.
Rakul sported a beautiful lehenga from Bhumika Sharma’s Winter 2023 Festive collection called ‘Retro Love’ and she definitely magnificent donning it. The classic red and gold lehenga made Rakul shine bright and how- the colour palette of the outfit matched the actress’ lovely personality and she went on to radiate such positivity and happiness on the ramp.
The golden thread embroidery on the red base fabric added opulence and the patterns on both the lehenga and the blouse were extremely intricate. Rakul’s look had a naturally classic flair to it and sure did carry it with such sheen. The lehenga set was subtle and striking at the same time.

Rakul’s lehenga from the ‘Retro Love’ collection was a statement piece that can be donned not only to celebrate the festival season that is approaching us but can be styled for a wedding look as well- it is simply fabulous for every season and all the reasons. The very detailing on the body of the outfit and the hand-embroidered motifs including the French knots were indeed spectacular. A special mention to the incredible fitting of the outfit that went on to create a scintillating silhouette.
We love the fact that the actress went ahead and sported a wet hair look which was so much in contrast with her classic outfit, yet seamlessly tied up with the entire look. The dewy yet minimal makeup base worked out in the favour of the outfit. Rakul’s look was further accessorised with a pair of sleek yet beautiful danglers.
