The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is all set to start the board exams for Class 10 from today February 2, 2024. According to the WBBSE Madhyamik exam routine, the revised exam timings are from 9:45 AM to 1 PM. Earlier, the exam timings were set from 11:45 AM to 3 PM but the board changed it via an official notice dated January 18.
It is important to note that students appearing for the Madhyamik Board Exam 2024 are required to carry their admit cards to the examination centre. Also, it is mandatory to cross-check all the instructions on the admit card and report to the examination hall as per the mentioned timings.
According to the WBBSE guidelines, examinees will be permitted to enter the examination centre from 8:30 AM. The paper distribution will commence at 9:45 AM and the exam duration is from 10 AM to 1 PM. The board has also instructed the teachers and non-teaching staff to reach the exam centre at 8 AM.
WBBSE Board Exams 2024: Madhyamik Routine
–– February 2, 2024: First Language (Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Modern Tibetan, Nepali, Odia, Gurmukhi (Punjabi), Telugu, Tamil, Urdu, and Santali).
–– February 3, 2024: Second Language (English, if any language other than English is offered as the First Language and Bengali or Nepali, if English is the First Language.)
–– February 5, 2024: History
–– February 6, 2024: Geography
–– February 8, 2024: Mathematics
–– February 9, 2024: Life Science
–– February 10, 2024: Physical Science
–– February 12, 2024: Optional Elective Subjects
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has scheduled the music vocal and instrumental theory exam for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Students are required to secure at least 272 marks to qualify for the West Bengal Madhyamik exam 2024.
In addition to that, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) on January 26 opened the control rooms in every district for 9.23 lakh students who will be sitting for the upcoming West Bengal Madhyamik examination. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has also released helpline numbers for students to clarify all their exam-related issues.
