Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has declared the UPPSC PCS Mains Result 2023. Candidates who have appeared for this exam can check the results through the official website of UPPSC: uppsc.up.nic.in. A total of 451 candidates have qualified in the main examination. According to media reports, after the main result, the interview is expected to commence in the second week of January. The Commission plans to release the final results of the examination within 9 months of the prelims, that is before February 14. This is expected to set a new record as till now, the result of the PCS exam has not been released in such a short time.

Through this recruitment drive, UPPSC aims to fill up about 173 vacancies for the combined state/upper subordinate services. The registration process started on March 3 and concluded on April 6, 2023. The UPPSC PCS main examination was conducted from September 26-29 2023 in Prayagraj and Lucknow. The exam was conducted in two shifts — from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. A total of 3658 candidates attempted the main examination. Candidates who have qualified for the written examination are eligible to appear for the interview round.
