The State Bank of India (SBI) has begun the application process for the recruitment of 1040 Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) today, July 19. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the bank at sbi.co.in. The registration process which commenced today will continue till August 8.

Candidates must have cleared graduation and master’s along with three to five years of work experience in the relevant field. Candidates must note that the contract period of the job is five years.

SBI SCO Recruitment 2024: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI at sbi.co.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the tab that reads “Recruitment for SCO 2024” or something similar.

Step 3: Register yourself by giving the required information.

Step 4: Log in using the Registration Number and Password

Step 5: Fill in the application form carefully

Step 6: Upload scanned copies of the required documents and pay the fee.

Step 7: Download and take a printout of the application form for future reference.

SBI SCO Recruitment 2024: Application Fees

Applicants belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories need to deposit a fee of Rs 750. While the candidates from SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempted from paying any fees.

SBI SO Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The bank will prepare a merit list based on scores obtained in interviews only. “The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview-cum-CTC negotiations,” reads the official notice. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks, such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order. Further, applicants must note that merely fulfilling the minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in candidates to be called for an interview.
