RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: Registration Deadline Extended For UG And Graduate Posts, Check New Dates

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the registration deadline for the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) recruitment 2024 for both graduate and undergraduate level posts. As per the new schedule, for RRB NTPC UG, candidates can apply till October 27; while for graduate posts, the last date to apply is October 20 through the official website:rrbapply.gov.in. According to the official notification, candidates applying for graduate-level posts will be allowed to pay the fees by October 22 and make changes to their applications till October 30, whereas for UG vacancies, the candidates can pay their application fees till October 29 and edit their details till November 6.
Note that details filled in the ‘create an account’ form and the choices of RRBs can NOT be edited during the correction window.
Follow these steps to apply for RRB NTPC 2025 UG/Graduate Posts:
Step 1: Open the official website,rrbapply.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the ‘Apply’ button and click on it.
Step 3: Enter the required details and generate your User ID and Password.
Step 4: Log in to your account and fill in the application form.
Step 5: Upload all the necessary documents in a suitable format.
Step 6: Pay the application fees and click on proceed.
Step 7: Submit the form and take a hard copy of it for future reference.
RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: Application Fees
To apply for the said posts, candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories need to pay an application fee of Rs 500; out of which, Rs 400 shall be refunded after deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT. Those belonging to the SC/ST, PWD, Women, Ex-servicemen, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward categories need to pay Rs 250 as an application fee. The whole amount shall be refunded after deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.
RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
For Graduate level posts, candidates applying must be between 18 to 30 years old, as of January 1, 2025. Relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates. Candidates must have graduated from a recognised university with at least 50 percent marks aggregate.
For UG posts, the age limit to apply is the same as the Graduate level posts. As for the educational qualification, applicants must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with at least 50 percent marks aggregate.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 11,558 vacancies. Out of these, 3,445 are for undergraduate-level posts, while 8,113 are for graduate-level posts.
