NPCIL Recruitment 2024: Registration Begins For 400 Executive Trainee Posts; Selection via GATE Scores

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has initiated the application process for the recruitment of executive trainees. Candidates can apply through the official website at npcilcareers.co.in. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE scores from 2022, 2023, or 2024 followed by a personal interview.

The NPCIL recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 400 posts of executive trainees across various disciplines in mechanical, chemical, electrical, electronics, instrumentation, and civil.

NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Here’s a detailed version of the eligibility criteria for the candidates applying for the NPCIL recruitment exam 2024.

Age limit: Candidates from general categories must not exceed 26 years old as of April 30, 2024. Age relaxation criteria are applicable for reserved category candidates with 3 years for OBC, 5 years for ST, and 10 years for PWD candidates.

Education qualification: Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (B Tech), Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc) and a 5-year integrated course of Master of Technology (M.Tech) with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate marks from an institute recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Candidates who are awaiting their final results and/or are appearing for the final year/semester examination during 2024, but are otherwise eligible, may also apply.

NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

Regarding the application fee, male candidates from unreserved (UR), economically weaker section (EWS) and other backward classes (OBC) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 to register. Candidates belonging to scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with disability (PWD), and female candidates are exempted from the application fee, as stated in the official notice.
