The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the schedule of the Joint Entrance for Lateral Entry Test (JELET) 2024. As per the official schedule, the JELET 2024 exam will be held on June 29 this year. It will be held from 11 am to 1 pm. Meanwhile, the online registration process for the JELET 2024 exam will begin today, February 8, and will end on March 11, 2024. Candidates can apply for the JELET 2024 exam via the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates are advised to carefully review the information bulletin before applying for the examination.
JELET 2024: Important Dates
–– Online registration with payment of fees: February 8 to March 11.
–– Online correction as well as downloading revised confirmation page: March 13 to March 15.
–– Release of admit card: June 21 to June 29.
–– Date of exam: June 29.
–– Declaration of result: To be notified later.
JELET 2024: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Go to the official website of WBJEEB atwbjeeb.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘JELET 2024’ registration link, when activated.
Step 3: Then register yourself and fill out the application form as directed.
Step 4: Upload all the mandatory documents and pay the essential fee.
Step 5: Crosscheck all the details and submit the application form.
“On successful completion of all the above steps, the candidate shall be directed to download the ‘Confirmation Page’ which means that the application is complete. APPLICATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL THE CONFIRMATION PAGE IS GENERATED,” reads the official notice.
JELET 2024: Application Fee
The application fee for the JELET 2024 exam is Rs 400 for General Female candidates, Rs 500 for General Male candidates, Rs 300 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS Female candidates Rs400 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS Male candidates, and Rs 300 for Third Gender candidates. The fee is non-refundable.
The WBJEEB will hold an OMR-based Common Entrance Test (JELET 2024) for students seeking admission to the second year (3rd semester) of four-year undergraduate courses in engineering/technology and pharmacy at various universities, government colleges, and self-financing engineering and technological institutes in West Bengal for the academic year 2024-25.
The JELET 2024 exam will be held only once, and those who cannot attend on the specified date and time will not be able to take it again. The examination centre allocation will be based on the candidate’s zone preferences. If necessary, candidates may be assigned to a zone other than their preferred one.
