JEECUP 2024 Counselling: Round 1 Choice Filling Begins, How to Submit Options
Candidates who passed the UPJEE 2024 can submit their course and college preferences via the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in

The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh, has commenced the choice-filling procedure of the JEECUP Counselling 2024 round 1 today, July 12. Candidates who passed the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE) 2024 can submit their course and college preferences via the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The deadline for the web-options entry is July 14.

Seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s preference, rank and availability. As per the schedule, the seat allotment result for round 1 of counselling will be declared on July 15. To confirm admission, candidates satisfied with the result need to pay the acceptance fee of Rs 3,000 and a counselling fee of Rs 250 between July 16 to July 19. Note that the fee is only for Government and Government-aided colleges.

How to fill choices for JEECUP 2024 Counselling? Follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the choice-filling link and click on it.

Step 3: Enter your login credentials.

Step 4: Read the instructions carefully.

Step 5: Fill in your choices and click on Submit.

Step 6: Download the confirmation form and take a printout for future reference.

JEECUP 2024 Counselling: List of documents required

The document verification procedure will be held between July 16 to July 19.

— Counselling seat allotment letter

— Class 10 mark sheet and certificate

— Class 12 mark sheet and certificate

— Two Passport size photographs

— Domicile Certificate

— Category reservations certificate (if applicable)

Candidates who have been assigned seats following the conclusion of the first round can withdraw their nominations on July 21. The counselling is being done in two stages. The first phase consists of three rounds and will be held only for qualified candidates from Uttar Pradesh. Choice filling for round 2 and round 3 will begin on July 22 and August 2 respectively for students of UP and other states. The academic session for Phase 1 will begin on August 21. The second phase will consist of two rounds, that is, round 4 and round 5. Classes for the candidates admitted through the second phase will commence on September 9.
