The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main from today, April 4. As per the schedule, the JEE Main Session 2 exam will be held between April 4 and April 12. The first shift will begin from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift is scheduled from 3 pm to 6 pm. Check out some important guidelines and admit card details which every candidate must follow.
JEE Main 2024: Exam Day Guidelines
1. All the candidates are advised to report the Examination center on time i.e 2 hours before the exam begins.
2. Candidates must be seated immediately after the Examination hall opens. If any candidate could not reach the hall on time due to any reason i.e traffic jam, train delay etc. they will likely miss some important instructions to be announced at the Examination centre.
3. NTA shall not be responsible for any kind of delay.
4. The candidate must ensure that the question paper provided on the computer matches his subject as on the Admit card.
5. All the candidates are advised not to bring any electronic gadgets (Phones/Tablets etc) to the Examination Hall.
JEE Main 2024: Documents to carry
1. Hard copy of the admit card along with a self-declaration downloaded from the NTA official website – Take print out in an A4 Size sheet.
2. One Passport Size Photograph – Same as uploaded on the Online Application Form
3. Any one the Original ID Proofs – (Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card/School ID Card/ PAN Card/Passport/ Driving License/ E-Aadhaar Card with photo/ Ration Card with picture.)
4. Board Admit Card with a photograph.
5. If the candidate is claiming relaxation under PwD category, get a PwD Certificate from an authorized medical officer.
The JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exam will be held at multiple centres in about 319 cities across the country, including 22 cities outside India. The results for JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exam will be announced on April 25, 2024.
