Educational achievements are a source of great joy to parents, as they are those people who have witnessed their child’s hard work first-hand and have provided their support. Siddharth Agarwal from Jabalpur is one of those names, who secured an impressive rank in JEE Advanced examination.
IIT Madras has declared the results for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. Siddharth Agarwal from Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur has secured the all-India rank 307th in the examination.
According to Siddharth, the subject he felt was the toughest to study was physics. To tackle the hurdle, he set syllabus targets, which greatly helped him in clearing the concepts of the subject. He feels that his score decreased otherwise he would have gone to Delhi.
However, his rank brought him to the list of top 5 candidates from the Kanpur zone. His hobbies include playing games like chess and badminton. He revealed further that he was a state-level player of chess. To prepare for the examination, he came from Jabalpur to Indore. His father is an engineer by profession while his mother is a homemaker from Jabalpur. Talking to Local18, his mother revealed that Siddharth scored well in his 10th and 12th board examinations. By nature, he is a reserved young man and his only focus is his studies and career, the mother added.
Around 48,248 candidates cracked the JEE Advanced examination and are awaiting admission at IITs. IIT Madras stated that Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from the IIT Bombay zone secured the all-India rank 7, becoming the top-ranking female candidate after getting a score of 322 marks out of 360. The students who are eligible for Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSaa) have to register today at josaa.nic.in, the official website.
