Indira Gandhi Open University commenced accepting applications for Junior Assistant cum Typist (JAT) and Stenographer posts a few weeks back. The deadline for the submission of the application form is December 26, today. Interested candidates are advised to visit the official website at exams.nta.ac.in without any further delay and apply for the position. Earlier, the last date to submit the applications was December 21.
Through this recruitment drive, the University aims to hire a total of 50 candidates for the post of Junior Assistant cum Typist whereas 52 candidates will be employed in the post of Stenographer in IGNOU.
IGNOU Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
The application fee for the candidates belonging to Unreserved (UR) & OBC categories is Rs 1000. On the other hand, for SC, ST, EWS, FEMALE, and PwBD categories, it is required to pay an application fee of Rs 600.
IGNOU Recruitment 2023: Age Limit
Coming to age criteria, candidates seeking employment under the post of Junior Assistant cum Typist (JAT) should be between the age of 18 to 27 years. For the Stenographer post, the candidate’s age limit should be between 18 to 30 years.

Step 3: In the next step, you are required to proceed with the application and key in the required information in the form.
Step 4: Once done, go for the next step which requires you to upload all the required documents.
Step 5: Submit the application fee after reviewing the application carefully.
Step 6: Submit the form and download it for further use.
IGNOU Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
There will be two examinations conducted for recruitment to the posts of Junior Assistant cum Typist and Stenographer in IGNOU. While the Tier-1 examination will be combined for both posts, there will be different exams in Tier-2 for both posts.
