Everyone aspires to become a successful figure in life but only a few become. Recently, one inspiring story has garnered the attention of people. Ramesh Singh, a school inspector of Ballia District, has made it to the front. Starting his journey from a humble beginning, he has achieved a remarkable feat in the education sector.
Sharing about his journey, he mentioned that during his time, there were no proper education facilities. Despite lacking robust education support, he managed to carve a niche for himself. He is now helping district students gain knowledge and realise their fullest potential.
Ramesh Singh reflected on his childhood spent in Azamgarh, where he lacked a conducive study environment. Despite these challenges, he has emerged as an inspiring figure for students. His journey of overcoming obstacles to completing his studies sets a motivating example for others. Currently, he is focused on making education better in the district.
Ramesh Singh also opened up about his upbringing. He grew up in Chhatauna village, Azamgarh district. Despite coming from a well-off family, he was presented with limited opportunities. Back then, he finished his primary schooling at the village and was there up to fifth grade.
Later, he completed high school at Udyog Vidyalaya Inter College in Koyalsa, Azamgarh, from the UP Board. He then pursued a master’s degree from Allahabad University in 1989.
Just after completing his post-graduation, he started appearing for government exams. He failed three times before he landed jobs as a Sub Inspector, second officer at the Fire Brigade and Bank PO.
In 1995, Ramesh Singh cleared the PCS exam. Two years later, in 1997, he transitioned into the role of Basic Education Officer (BSA). Throughout his career, he held various positions, such as Deputy Education Director, in multiple locations like Etah, Allahabad, Basti, Gorakhpur, and the Directorate of Education. Recently, he assumed the responsibility of District School Inspector in Ballia district.
Ramesh Singh believes, “Keep trying and you’ll never fail.” He advised me not to give up because success can come unexpectedly. From his own life, he learned that persistence is vital. If he had quit after three failures, he wouldn’t be successful today.
