CUET UG 2024: Aspirants Claim Many Universities, Including DU, Missing From Application Forms
The NTA CUET UG application needs students to fill out their details, and educational details and are then required to select the choice of their universities.

The application process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 was commenced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on February 27. The last date to apply is March 26. However, recently candidates while applying for CUET Undergraduate (UG) exams claimed that the names of many universities, including Delhi University are missing from the list.

The NTA CUET UG application needs students to fill out their details, and educational details and are then required to select the universities they want to appear in through this Common University Entrance Test. However, upon checking the drop-down list on the official website, many universities seemed to be missing. Students have been raising their concerns online by tagging the NTA on X (formerly known as Twitter).

One of the tweets read, “@NTA_Exams, cuet ug 2024. Many central universities including DU are missing from your drop-down list.”

Another student tweeted, “Sir, please improve the NTA CUET UG website as many universities and their programs are not visible.”

One more CUET UG aspirant shared a screengrab and tweeted, “Sir, I can not see a college like Delhi University and any other please help.”

Apart from this, the students have also claimed that the application form is ambiguous and confusing. Reportedly, the CUET aspirants claimed that the application form has a column for Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) which they are completely unaware of. Their parents have claimed that while the students are not aware of ABC ID, they might be aware of the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR). However, there were no guidelines which offered any explanation about ABC. Also, in the identification details section, no drop-down option has been provided because of which students are unable to select the identification number.

The alleged incomplete list of colleges and universities in the CUET UG 2024 form is a matter of grave concern because Delhi University (DU) is one of the most sought-after universities in the country. Students from across the country come here to get an educational degree. Meanwhile, the website of the university states that all candidates who want to enroll for UG courses in DU for the academic year 2024-25, must register themselves for CUET UG 2024.
