The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) results for the January 2024 session have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates can view their results on the official websites at cbseresults.nic.in and ctet.nic.in. Roughly 84 per cent of candidates who registered had showed up for the CTET, which was administered by the CBSE on January 21, 2024, in 3,418 test locations spread over 135 Indian cities. On the other hand, the answer key and the OMR response sheet for the CTET January 2024 session were issued on February 7.

No additional re-evaluation or verification of the results is permitted. CBSE has also highlighted that it won’t be accepting any correspondence in this regard.

CTET January 2024 Result: How To Check

To view their results, candidates must log on to the CTET official website and carry out the steps listed below:

Step 1: To download the results, visit the CTET official website at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Look for the “CTET January 2024 Result” link on the home page and click on it.

Step 3: Applicants must enter the necessary information on a new page that opens after clicking.

Step 4: Using the credentials that were generated, click submit and log in.

Step 5: Once completed, the CTET January 2024 results will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Print a copy of your CTET January 2024 results for future reference.

​​The number of candidates registered for the CTET January 2024 session was around 27 lakh, of which about 9.58 lakh students were registered for Paper 1 (Class 1-5) and around 17.35 lakh students for Paper 2 (Class 6-8). The CTET eligibility is determined by two papers: Paper-1 determines eligibility for teachers in classes 1 through 5, and Paper-2 determines eligibility for teachers in classes 6 through 8.

Candidates will receive one mark for each correct response, under the CBSE CTET grading system. Candidates from the unreserved category need to get at least 60 per cent, which accounts to about 90 out of 150 marks, to pass the exam. Students from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), and People with Disabilities (PWD) groups must score 55 per cent, or 82 out of 150 marks, to qualify in the exam.
