The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) June 2024 application correction window online. The last date to correct the CSIR UGC NET application is May 31.

CSIR UGC NET 2024 Correction Window: Steps to Edit Application Form

Step 1 — Visit the official website — csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2 — Find the link to the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2024 application edit form

Step 3 — Application Correction Window” on the homepage.

Step 4 — Enter your login information, including your birthdate and application number.

Step 5 — Your account will be accessed once you log in.

Step 6 — Make the necessary edits to your application and submit.

Through the CSIR NET application correction 2024 option, candidates may make changes to their name, mother’s name, father’s name, educational background, address, gender, date of birth, category, nationality, post applied for, subjects chosen, specialisation, and preferred exam area.

There is no official announcement for the release of the admit card but it is expected to be published soon by the NTA. The application number and birth date of the registered candidate must be entered in order to view the CSIR NET admit card upon release. If there is a discrepancy in the candidate’s details, or in the photo and signatures on the confirmation page and admit card, the candidate can contact the Helpline.

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET, which is being administered by the NTA in June 2024, is designed to assess Indian national’s eligibility for three types of post-secondary education opportunities. It includes exams for the posts “appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD,” “award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor,” and also “admission to PhD” in Indian universities and colleges via computer-based testing (CBT).

The exam will be administered as per the timetable on June 25, 26, and 27, 2024. There will be 180 minutes allotted for the exam. Five courses will be covered in total including Earth Atmospheric, Ocean, Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.
