The Andhra Pradesh government is slated to wrap up the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (AP SET) 2024 registration window today, March 6, 2024. Candidates who wish to apply for the AP SET 2024 can do so directly through the AP SET’s official website at apset.net.in. On February 14, Andhra University in Visakhapatnam launched the AP SET 2024 registration to select qualified individuals for lecturer/ assistant professor positions in the state’s universities and degree colleges. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can submit their applications without a late fee until today, March 6.
AP SET 2024: Steps to Apply
Step 1: Go to apset.net.in, the AP SET official website.
Step 2: Select “AP SET 2024 registration” from the list of links given on the homepage.
Step 3: You will be sent to a new window where you must complete your registration.
Step 4: After signing up, use the registration number and password that were sent to your phone number or email address to access the application portal.
Step 5: Carefully fill out the application form and upload your documents in the format required.
Step 6: Pay the application fee based on your category and select the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 7: . Print a copy of the AP SET 2024 application form for your records.
AP SET 2024: exam pattern
There are two papers on the AP SET 2024 exam:
Paper 1
Candidates across all disciplines share Paper 1, which consists of 50 mandatory objective-type questions worth 2 marks each to assess research and teaching skills in an hour. For the most part, this paper is bilingual (English and Telugu) with exceptions being Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu, and Urdu.
Paper 2
With 100 objective-type questions worth 2 marks each to be answered in two hours, Paper 2, has been tailored as per the candidates selected subject to assess their thorough knowledge. Except for commerce, economics, education, history, political science, public administration, and sociology, which offer a Telugu option, every subject is taught in English.
AP SET 2024: Application Fee
The AP SET application fee is Rs. 1200 for candidates in the General and EWS categories and Rs. 1000 for those in the BC category. The examination cost for candidates who identify as SC, ST, PWD, or transgender is Rs. 700. Only online payments are accepted for the online submission of the application fee.
