Yuvraj Singh had some warm words for young Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma who celebrates his 24th birthday on September 4. Yuvraj, who is currently working as a mentor with the young batter, wished Abhishek on the special occasion.
Sharing a video, the legendary India all-rounder wrote, “Happy birthday sir Abhishek.”
Writing further the former World Cup winner hoped that Abhishek continued racking up more runs in his career.
“Hope you take as many singles this year as many as you knock out of the park. Keep putting in the hard work! loads of love and wishes for a great year ahead,” Yuvraj wrote.
In the video, Yuvraj Singh could be seen continuously guiding the young batter on improving his stance to enhance his hitting. Abhishek Sharma remained attentive as he racked up more sixes which led to the retired cricketer saying, “Tu na sudhri, bas chakke maari jaayi [you will not listen, just hitting sixes].”
