Ravindra Jadeja is a world-class allrounder and besides his on-field abilities, the star cricketer is also known for completing his overs in quick time.
On Friday, as Chennai Super Kings took on Royal Challengers Bangalore, Jadeja was in the middle of his third over when Virat Kohli reminded him to allow the batter a little room to breath during a hilarious exchange with his India teammate.
Jadeja was quickly going through his over, his third and RCB’s 11th of the innings.
As the left-arm spinner was about to begin his run-up for the third delivery to RCB’s Cameron Green, Kohli, who was at the non-striker’s end, said, “Saans toh lene de use! (Give the guy room to breath!)”

Kohli and Green were attempting to rebuild RCB innings that was wobbling after the dismissal of three batters in quick succession. The visitors had started on a strong note after opting to bat first thanks to Faf du Plessis’ quick 23-ball 35 inside the Powerplay.

Mustafizur Rahman struck twice in the fifth over that included the wickets of Du Plessis and Rajat Patidar (0) before Deepak Chahar landed a massive blow when he sent Glenn Maxwell packing for a golden duck.
As it turned out, the stand between Kohli and Green lasted 35 runs before both fell in the same over of Mustafizur who finished with figures of 4/29 from his four overs.
RCB were in trouble at 78/5 before Dinesh Karthik and Anuj Rawat joined forces to get them to 173/6 in 20 overs. Anuj was run out for 48 on the last delivery of the RCB innings while Karthik remained unbeaten on 38.
CSK didn’t drop a sweat while overhauling the target with six wickets and eight deliveries to spare. Debutant Rachin Ravindra top-scored for the title holders with 15-ball 37 while Shivam Dube remained unbeaten on 34 as the hosts finished at 176/4 in 18.4 overs.
