Rohit, Jadeja, Coach Dravid Spotted at Mumbai Airport as Team India Leaves for T20 World Cup 2024: WATCH
The likes of Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and the coaching staff boarded the flight to the West on Saturday from the Mumbai airport.

The first batch of Team India members, comprising captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid, left for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in the Caribbean and the US. The showpiece event gets underway next month with India beginning their campaign against Ireland. The men in blue are placed in Group A, alongside Ireland, hosts USA, Canada and arch-rivals Pakistan.

The likes of Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav and the coaching staff boarded the flight to the West on Saturday. A video has been doing rounds on social media in which the stars of the Indian cricket team could be seen arriving at the Mumbai airport.

All teams featuring the players from India’s 15-man World Cup squad are knocked out of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The Rajasthan Royals, which featured Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal and travelling reserve Avesh Khan, was the last franchise to get out of the league, after losing to Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday.

Earlier on Thursday, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), featuring Virat Kohli, were eliminated after losing to the Royals by 4 wickets in the IPL Playoffs in Ahmedabad.
