Rishabh Pant took everyone by surprise during the opening match of the Delhi Premier League T20 2024 between South Delhi Superstarz and Purani Dilli 6 on Saturday.
The star Indian wicketkeeper-batter took matters into his own hands as he rolled his arms over with the result of the match almost already certain. Pant stepped up to bowl the final over of the match with the batting side needing only one run to win.
Pant is known for his swasbuckling batting style and wicket-keeping skills and has not bowled for India or even in the Indian Premier League.
The match was over on the first ball from Pant itself as Delhi Superstarz defeated Purani Dilli 6.
