Trisha Krishnan starrer The Road trailer has been recently released. Directed by Arun Vaseegaran, the film also stars Shabeer Kallarakkal, Miya George, MS Bhaskar, Santhosh Prathap, and Vela Ramamoorthy in key roles. Touted to be a revenge drama, the film is slated to hit the silver screens on October 6.
The film draws inspiration from real-life events that took place on the highways of Tamil Nadu. In the movie, Trisha is going to be seen in the role of a tenacious journalist. With music composed by Sam CS, the cinematography of the film is handled by KG Venkatesh. Meanwhile, the film is produced by AAA Cinema.
So far, the trailer of the film has amassed over 6,406,771 views and is currently trending on the internet. Several social media users have commented on the video. The three-minute trailer begins with Trisha’s character in the film as she is seen standing on a flyover. Her voiceover questions, “What exactly happened here? Why did it happen?"
In the trailer, one can witness some sequences of accidents that took place at a specific location on NH44. Just as the trailer is about to end. Trisha is once again seen, saying, “This is turning out to be much bigger than what I initially thought".
This film marks the second release of Trisha in 2023 after Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2. Trisha Krishnan is best known for films like Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, 96, and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.
