Kere Bete, one of the most anticipated movies in Kannada cinema, promises to capture the essence of a popular fishing event in the Malendadu region of Karnataka. Directed by Rajguru B, the film is set in a rustic village, offering a glimpse into the life of a fisherman. The lead role is portrayed by Gowrishankar SRG, and the recently unveiled first look introduces actress Bindu Shivaram as the lead heroine in her Kannada film debut.

Bindu Shivaram, originally from Bangalore and a graduate of Mount Carmel College, pursued a career in event planning while actively auditioning for film roles. The diverse cast of Kere Bete features around 70 actors, including a mix of newcomers, local talents, and established faces, as highlighted by Gowri Shankar, the lead actor.
Gowrishankar SRG, returning to a lead role after a five-year hiatus, last appeared in Rajahamsa in 2017. Directed by Jadesh Kumar Hampi, the film also featured actors such as Ranjani Raghavan, Bullet Prakash, Tabla Nani, and Yamuna.
