Visitors at the Auto Expo 2016 which kick starts from February 5 will have on display some of the most anticipated automotive technologies. Amongst a host of luxury automotives, BMW is expected to launch its all-new 7 Series and the new X1.
The new BMW 7 Series is larger than its predecessor but 90 kg lighter. It is available in three variants 750Li petrol, the 740Li petrol and the 730Ld diesel. It will come with an 265PS/620Nm 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine.
The BMW X1 is larger and taller than its predecessor. The SUV will come with front wheel drive option for now.
It will be available in one petrol and three diesel variants, with all variants being powered by BMW's 2.0-litre TwinPower turbo engines that put out 150PS of power.
Other than these, the 3 Series will also be showcased at the exhibition. The 1995cc diesel engine has been retained from previous generation but performance has gone up to 190PS/400Nm.
The luxury carmaker will further have on display its entire India lineup and for the first time, BMW Motorrad will be making its official India debut at the exhibition.
