Terra Charge Opens Ghaziabad's First Public EV Charging Hub With 71 Chargers
The hub supports up to 72 EVs at a time and is compatible with all types of electric vehicles, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers.

Terra Charge, a key player in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, has unveiled its latest public charging hub in Ghaziabad.

Located at Village Morta on the Delhi Meerut Highway, near Pillar No. 682, this facility is now open for everyone.

The hub boasts 70 slow chargers with a capacity of 3.3 kW each and one DC fast charger at 60 kW, featuring CCS Type 2 technology. This makes it the first of its kind in Ghaziabad, providing easy charging solutions for both public and commercial fleets. Terra Charge has invested Rs. 5 crore in this initiative to bring advanced Japanese charging technology closer to the public while expanding its presence in India.

Mr. Akihiro Ueda, CEO of Terra Charge, expressed his excitement about the launch, stating, “Our new hub in Ghaziabad is one of the largest public EV charging stations in India. We chose to keep our charging hub open to public and commercial fleets to meet the region’s charging requirements and support large-scale adoption.”

All 71 Japanese chargers at the hub are compatible with various electric vehicles, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. The spacious facility can accommodate charging for up to 72 EVs at once.

With this new hub, Terra Charge now operates 50 live charging stations and has over 400 charging points across India. The company is also exploring partnerships to boost India’s booming EV market, which is expected to reach $48.6 billion by 2030.
