Visually, the motorcycle boasts futuristic aesthetics with flat panels and sharp lines, offering a glimpse into tomorrow's streets.

Ola Electric has undoubtedly established itself as a major player in the EV market.

The brand is setting its sights on the electric motorcycle scene, aiming for a big entry into the market. Revealed over a year ago, the company’s plans are now taking shape with the unveiling of design patents for one of their upcoming electric motorcycles.

According to Bikewale, the visuals of this Ola electric motorcycle hint at it being a potential choice for everyday commuters. This is evident from its features, including a conventional telescopic fork, twin shock absorbers at the rear, and a simple box-section swingarm. Rolling on 17-inch alloy wheels with narrow commuter-sized tires, the emphasis seems to be on enhancing efficiency by reducing drag.

Under the hood, Ola is gearing up to equip this electric motorcycle with a new electric motor and battery, positioned in a single unit similar to where an internal combustion engine would reside. The optimization of weight distribution on this bike will be a fascinating aspect to observe.

While specific performance and efficiency details are yet to be disclosed, expectations are that it will be capable of reaching speeds of at least 100kph, given the prowess of Ola’s S1 Pro electric scooter. Anticipate a decent range from the battery, with possible provisions for fast charging.

In terms of design, the Ola electric motorcycle showcases a futuristic appeal with its sleek flat panels and sharp crease lines. Ergonomically, it seems to offer a single-piece seat and a comfortable upright riding position.

As for its availability in India, Ola Electric is keeping mum about the launch date. Whenever it hits the streets, it’ll be squaring off against competitors like the Tork Kratos R and Revolt RV400, currently making waves in the market.
