The premium car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz pushed its electric portfolio in India and has launched two BEVs (Battery Electric vehicles) – EQA 250 and EQB 350. Both the models already created their niche in the international market, and now have reached the Indian shore with 5 5-seater configurations.

Price Range

The tech-loaded EQA 250+ has been Introduced at the price tag of Rs 66 lakhs, making it the most affordable offering in the product line. The EQB 350 SUV has priced at Rs 77.5 lakhs (all India (ex-showroom).

Interested customers can now reserve these EVs from the company’s authorised dealership nationwide. The same also can be done online for a totally refundable amount.

All About EQA 200 Plus

The newly launched EQA shares the same profile as the GLA. The model can be termed as the electrified version of GLA. However, the blacked-out grill at the front with 3D multiple stars, updated bumper, minor changes on the side profile and overall noticeable cosmetic upgrades make it stand out compared to the ICE version.

Design Elements

The EV comes with a long list of trending elements such as connected DRLs at both ends, a fully LED headlight setup, a chrome finish apron at the front and a similar treatment on the windows.

The EV runs on eye-catching 19-inch AMG-style alloy wheels, which makes it more aesthetic in its segment. The silver-finished roof rails and dark roof add more feathers to its cap.

The EQA gets the same dashboard as the GLA. However, the company has made some noticeable changes from the inside. The EV offers EV-specific styling, featuring illuminated stars on the dashboard and copper-finished illuminated AC vents. The seat also received some updates, flaunting a rose-coloured finish, which is made with recycled PET bottles.

Battery, Range and Top Speed

The EQA 250+ uses a trusted 70.5 kWh battery pack, which offers an impressive range of more than 550 km on a single charge. As far as the power is concerned, it churns out a robust 187 bhp and 385 Nm of peak torque.

The company claims that the model is capable of doing 0-100 kmph sprint in just 8.6 seconds, and offers a top speed of 160 kmph.
