Dulquer Salmaan Adds Ferrari 296 GTB To His Garage

Dulquer Salmaan, a prominent figure in the Malayalam film industry, was recently seen behind the wheel of his Ferrari 296 GTB.

Notably, he has become the first actor from the Malayalam film fraternity to join the ranks of Ferrari owners, with glimpses of his new acquisition making rounds on the internet over the last few weeks.

DQ Car Collection 369 posted the footage on their Instagram page, with comments section revealing that the sports car had been sighted outside a hotel in Hyderabad. Dulquer Salmaan’s Olive Green G63 AMG made an entrance, pulling into the hotel premises, while the actor waited in his Ferrari. When the entrance gate was clear, Dulquer steered his Ferrari onto the porch, offering a friendly wave to the individual recording the video from within the car.

Dulquer’s Ferrari 296 GTB was painted in the iconic Rosso Rubino Metallizzato shade. The actor opted for tan-coloured interiors, featuring Daytona seats with Bordeaux inserts.

The car’s interior boasts a fully digital instrument cluster, carbon fibre inserts on the centre console and a Formula 1-inspired steering wheel.

The Ferrari 296 GTB, hailed as an entry-level supercar, defies any preconceived notions about entry-level vehicles. Powered by a 2.9-liter V6 engine coupled with an electric motor, this hybrid petrol engine delivers a performance finely tuned to Ferrari’s legacy. With an impressive 818 Ps output, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in a mere 2.9 seconds and boasts a top speed of 330 kmph.

While the Ferrari awaits its official registration number, sources indicate that the car was transported from Delhi to Chennai, hinting at the possibility of the actor registering it in Tamil Nadu, according to a report by Cartoq. Speculations are rife that Dulquer Salmaan might apply for the coveted 369 number, the report added.

The Ferrari 296 GTB carries a price tag of approximately Rs 5.44 crore, excluding showroom charges. As is customary with exotic cars, the overall cost can increase based on customisation options.

Notably, the G63 AMG showcased in the video stands as one of the high-end vehicles in Dulquer’s collection. The actor acquired this SUV in the distinctive Designo Olive Green shade, and when he made the purchase in 2021, the G63 AMG was valued at approximately Rs 2.44 crore, excluding showroom expenses.
